A simple-shaped wooden chest of drawers with a door. Thanks to the fluted fronts it has a modern character. However, it will also fit into boho and vintage interiors. This chest of drawers is made of oak wood and has no handles – instead, a convenient push-to-open system is built in. Its surface is covered with a matt varnish that looks like raw wood. It will fit perfectly into the living room or office. We deliver the chest of drawers already assembled and adjust the door after delivery. The project was awarded in the Good Design 2021 competition.

Low oak oval chest of drawers
The wooden oak low chest of drawers belongs to the BÓN collection of multifunctional furniture. Their unusual design was appreciated by the jury of the "Good Design 2021" competition, awarding the collection its prestigious prize. The chest of drawers is made of solid oak wood, and the fronts have been decorated thanks to wood fluting technology. The entire piece is finished with a matt clear lacquer, making the wood's surface look natural and raw. The legs give the furniture a lightness that makes it fit well even in small interiors. The designers of the oak chest of drawers combined an absorbing, fine design with practical advantages and high usability.
Fluted interesting fronts
Many vertical regular grooves have been milled in the solid wood from which the fronts of the chest of drawers are made. Thanks to this, the furniture draws attention with its spatial form and affects the senses. The fluting was done with great care and precision. This form of finishing makes the wooden chest of drawers eye-catching and practical. It can successfully play the proverbial first fiddle in an interior. Using natural oak in combination with fine milling refers to old craft traditions and makes the oak chest of drawers an exclusive and unique piece of furniture. The exciting design is complemented by protruding rounded shelves, and the metal caps can be replaced with an accessory - a cake stand, which is available separately.
Practical and ecological
The low oak oval chest of drawers is compatible with the BÓN multifunctional furniture accessories. Special holes in the top can be used to attach a mirror or a cake stand. This gives the furniture new functionality and can be more accurately adapted to the user's individual needs. The holes are secured by tasteful brass plugs when the accessories are removed. The doors open easily thanks to a clever push-to-open system. The chest of drawers is a 100% Polish product. The wood comes from State Forests and is FSC certified for sustainable forest management. By purchasing the raw material locally, we dispense with unnecessary transport and reduce the adverse effects of production on the environment.
Universal design
The design presented by the low oak chest of drawers is both sophisticated and universal. The designers of this piece of furniture have opted for an interesting, original design, while at the same time not forgetting about usability and aiming for versatility. The chest of drawers is not intended for a specific room and rigidly defined uses. It will work well in larger and smaller living rooms, but also in the bedroom, children's room and even in the kitchen. It is simple and unpretentious, yet elegant and exclusive in expression. It suits interiors decorated in Scandinavian, Japanese, modern, boho and retro styles.
