Oak oval chest of drawers
The oak chest of drawers is an aesthetically pleasing and capacious piece of furniture. We made it from solid oak. The wood has been protected with a matt clear varnish, which gives it a minimalist elegant expression. The fronts are decorated with fine fluting, giving the design a noticeable dynamic and eye-catching appeal. The chest of drawers is inspired by Scandinavian style, but it will also work well in Japanese, vintage and boho styling, as well as in modern and even loft arrangements.
Storage arrangements
The wooden chest has two practical shelves hidden behind doors and two drawers at the bottom. It allows for the convenient storage of all kinds of items. The back of the furniture and the bottom of the drawers are made of solid hardwood plywood with very good durability parameters. The structure of the chest of drawers is secure and stable, and the drawer mechanism works flawlessly. The doors open via a comfortable push-to-open system, which only requires them to be lightly pressed by hand. The side rounded shelves on both sides of the furniture allow for additional storage of small items or for displaying interesting decorations, as well as for mounting an accessory. This cake stand can be purchased separately.
Original design
The chest of drawers represents the BÓN collection, which received the prestigious "Good Design 2021" award from the Institute of Industrial Design. The jury appreciated the interesting design of the furniture and its innovative multifunctionality. The wooden chest of drawers is adapted to be supplemented with accessories: a cake stand or a mirror. They can be easily mounted in the designated holes on the top of the furniture. When they are removed, the holes are secured with brass plugs, which act as an interesting decoration. The chest of drawers is designed to be as versatile as possible. The design is not rigidly assigned to a particular room. It will work equally well in the bedroom, living room or children's room, and thanks to the accessories, the furniture can be personalised.
In tune with ecology
Ecological ideas are particularly close to our hearts. They guide us throughout the entire furniture-making process - from design to production. The design comes from a Polish workshop. We source the oak exclusively from State Forests in areas with an FSC sustainable forest management certificate. By using local raw materials, we minimise unnecessary transport and thus the carbon footprint. The wood is processed in our in-house sawmill and produced in our factory. The use of oak makes our furniture very durable so that it will serve its users well for many years.
