Universal wooden bench
The wooden bench is part of the BÓN multifunctional furniture collection. The collection, which came from the hands of young talented designers, was honoured in the annual "Good Design" competition organised by the Institute of Industrial Design. In 2021, the jury awarded it, appreciating the furniture's exciting design and high functionality. Like other furniture from the BÓN family, the bench was made of solid oak wood. It was protected with a matt transparent varnish, which protects the furniture from yellowing under the influence of light and gives it a raw minimalist expression.
A multi-purpose piece of furniture
The oak bench is a piece of furniture designed for multifunctional use. It will work very well in a hallway as a place to put on and take off shoes. You can also put small accessories such as a scarf or hat on it. The bench attached to the table can replace chairs. It can comfortably accommodate two people. It matches the height of the table from the BÓN collection. It can also play other roles limited only by the user's imagination. For example, it can be used in the living room as an effective place to display potted flowers and other decorations. In the bedroom, it can be used to put away bedspreads and decorative cushions after sending the bed to sleep.
With or without a cake stand
The bench is adapted to the modular accessories of the BÓN collection. Thanks to the mounting hole, an oak cake stand can be screwed onto it. This allows you to extend the functionality of the furniture quickly and easily. The cake stand can have many uses. If you use the bench in the living room, you can put a cup of coffee or tea on it. It can also be used as a base for a potted flower in the living room, bedroom or other room. In the hallway, the cake stand will be a good place to put important trinkets, such as new correspondence brought home. If the piece is unscrewed from the bench, the mounting holes are secured with a tasteful brass plug, which is an additional decoration.
Ethical production
Like other furniture from the BÓN collection, our benches are made from A to Z in Poland. Design, raw material sourcing, processing, production and sales all take place in the country. We use local raw materials, thus dispensing with transport, which is unnecessary. This approach is consistent with the ecological ideas in which we strive to conduct our business. We source our timber exclusively from State Forests in areas where forest resources are managed in accordance with FSC certification requirements. The benches are resistant to deterioration thanks to the use of noble solid oak. They will serve their users for many years, which we consider an important value in this age of consumerism and perishable products.
