A wooden chest of drawers. A multifunctional furniture - it can be used as a TV cabinet. It has a modern design owing to its fluted fronts and rounded shapes. Instead of handles, it features the convenient push-to-open system. The surface has been finished with a high quality matt varnish with raw oak effect that slows down the natural yellowing of the wood. We provide free delivery of already assembled furniture with the possibility of adjusting them on site. The project was awarded in the Good Design 2021 competition.

Wooden TV cabinet

The wooden long low chest of drawers from the BÓN collection was designed to serve as a comfortable TV cabinet. However, it is not just for TV owners. Thanks to its multifunctionality, it can be used for storing and attractively displaying various objects and ornaments.  We made it from solid oak wood, which we protected with a clear matt varnish. This finish gives the chest of drawers a raw ascetic look, while at the same time preventing the wood from yellowing when exposed to sunlight.

 

Fluted fronts

The fronts of the oak chest of drawers, which conceal the practical shelves, were decorated using wood fluting technology. This consists of grooving regular vertical grooves in solid oak. The fluting adds dynamism to the design and has a suggestive effect on the senses. It is reminiscent of old craft traditions, and in combination with the use of noble raw material and meticulous workmanship, it makes the chest of drawers an exclusive and unique piece of furniture. The bevels emphasise the raw character of the wood and effectively display its unique natural grain. Thanks to them, the chest of drawers can play the first fiddle in the room and set the tone for the entire arrangement.

 

BOŃ accessories system

The wooden TV cabinet is fully compatible with the innovative furniture accessories from the BÓN collection. Clever mounting holes in the tabletop allow you to attach a mirror or a cake stand to it easily. In the case of the chest of drawers, the cake stand-tray is particularly useful. You can place a potted flower, a vase of flowers or other decorations on it. It can also be used to put away remote controls so that they are always easy to find. The extras allow you to quickly expand the functionality of the furniture. When removed, the mounting hole is protected by an elegant brass cap. The modular solutions created by our young talented designers were awarded in the esteemed "Good Design 2021" competition.

 

Ethical production

One of the important ideas that guide our business is a concern for environmental protection. This is expressed, among other things, in the responsible selection of wood raw materials. The oak used by us is of Polish origin and comes entirely from sustainable responsible plantations of the State Forests, which are FSC-certified. Not only is the origin of the raw material national, but also the design and overall production process that takes place at our sawmill and plant. By minimising the need for transport, we reduce the production supply's harmful carbon footprint and negative environmental impact.
